Greg Varhaug - Guitar/Vocals
Greg was born in the fall of 1961. His earliest memory is that of his mother's green sweater. Greg began his musical career at the age of 12 with guitar and upright bass. For the past 20 years, Greg has performed professionally as either a guitarist, sound engineer, teacher or composer. He has scored commercials for several production companies as well as commercials for Congressman Charles Wilson in 1982. From 1991 to 1997 Greg played bass and guitar with a well known Houston band called Terry Allen and The GoodBye Boys. He soon after embarked out west to paradise, also know as LaHaina, Maui in the Hawaiian Islands. From 1998-99 Greg taught professionally and played on whale-watch boats and dinner cruises. Greg returned stateside in late '99 and performed on Bill Cabrera's CD which featured notable session players from the Steve Miller Band, Tom Waits, and Little Feat. Greg has also played with the reggae band Sanza throughout south and southeast Texas. Greg also continues to teach guitar and bass in the Houston-Katy area. The band feels lucky to have such a solid player.
